I recently spent six months as a women鈥檚 hockey beat writer for HockeyNow, writing copy for both their web and print platforms. During this time, I鈥檝e logged hundreds of hours researching, interviewing, writing and proofing copy. My second story became that month鈥檚 cover story, I鈥檝e interviewed Hayley Wickenheiser and Marie-Philip Poulin at a Hockey Canada press conference when Gatorade Canada signed their first women鈥檚 hockey brand ambassadors and I鈥檝e even interviewed Dani Rylan, the Commissioner of the National Women鈥檚 Hockey League.
