Miguel is graduated from one of the most prestigious and renowed architecture schools of Europe, "the Porto school" where he is presently doing his research about rapid urbanization and urban planning in the Asia contexts, Macau, the subject of his Doctoral thesis.
Miguel is also an architect sensitive to issues related to design, management, restauration of buildings and heritage. His researches comes from multiple studies in architecture, art, history, urbanism, specially related to Asia, what configures the actual approach to all themes related with architecture, design, but also the rapid urbanization subjects, and new urbanism.
