Lisa Nisenson leads Alta Planning +Design's New Mobility group and is co-founder of GreaterPlaces, a tech start-up devoted to the best in urban and community design. Named one of Planetizen's Top 10 planning sites for 2015 and TEDxArlington speaker in 2014. GreaterPlaces uses web, print, games and mobile apps (coming Spring 2017) to connect community advocates seeking solutions with planning professionals doing the work. She has over 20 years experience in smart growth, with unique experience as citizen planner, federal policy analyst, researcher and writer.
