She is the editor of ‘[En]Coding Architecture’ and member of the scientific committee for eCAADe 2015 in Milan. Werner held positions as guest professor at Carnegie Mellon (12/13) and Taylor's University, Kuala Lumpur (2014-16). Her field of research is 'Architecture + Cybernetics' exploring code-based computational tools to provoke an architectural vocabulary towards an architecture of cybernetics and biological understanding.
