Business Journalist, writing freelance for Irish national and international publications such as the Sunday Independent newspaper, and Ms. Magazine. I've always been a writer, but when I moved to the West of Ireland I started teaching, storytelling and sharing my deep love of Irish history, heritage, archaeology and mythology. I paused my journalism career for about 8 years to be the CEO and Manager of the Rathcroghan Visitor and Heritage Centre, in Tulsk, Co. Roscommon. That was quite the learning curve at first, but as the majority of my job often came down to writing - whether that was grant applications or reports, marketing and PR for the Centre, advertising, social media campaign...
