About
I am an award winning journalist who is now in academia. I earned my undergraduate degree from NMSU and worked in TV News in El Paso and Albuquerque for 10 years. I also did stand up comedy on the side and occasionally I will still do some shows.
I went to graduate school to get my teaching credentials and I have now worked at UTEP for 20 years teaching broadcasting and other media courses as well as serving as the News Director for KTEP (NPR)
