Luis Tavares Pereira was born in Lisbon, 1966. He graduated with an M.Arch from Princeton University in 1996 with a thesis on urban infrastructures and architecture, through a scholarship Gulbenkian/Princeton University,after graduating from the architecture school of University of Porto (FAUP, 1991).
He is the founding partner of [A] ainda arquitectura, (Porto, 1998) an architecture studio with a relevant practice in collaboration with cultural institutions, including Serralves Contemporary Art Museum, at Porto and Georgian National Museum, at Tbilisi.
