I have been a Registered Nurse and Midwife since 1985. I currently live in Tasmania and combine raising alpaca with my midwifery work. I am also a novice researcher and planning to commence a PhD this year.
I established a private midwifery practice on the Sunshine Coast QLD Australia from 1993-2008.
In 1997 I helped establish the Nambour Selangor Maternity Service, where I worked 1997-2008.
My Honors research investigated women's choice for a Caesarean in the absence of a medical indication for a first normal pregnancy. This is a complex phenomenon and I will be researching this further.
