CERS was founded in 1984; it鈥檚 the only professional scientific society in energy conservation area of Chongqing which was in charged by Chongqing Scientific Association and directed by Chongqing Economics and Information Committee. CRES has 620 members come from different areas, for instance, Chongqing governmental institutions, scientific research institutions, energy-consuming enterprises and energy service companies. CERS is attached to Chongqing Energy Conservation Technology Service Center.
