After many years in publishing (checking manuscripts and doing DTP), the firm I worked at went broke, so I decided to make a drastical change and I ended up at the Dutch Public prosecutor's office (through additional studies). Finally (after too many years!) I admitted to myself that I made the wrong choice and I switched back to publishing, this time online. After some years of working for Dutch IT-firms, I ended up at the City of Gouda, where I am involved in anything Internet and new ways to do your work (as we say in Holland: "Het Nieuwe Werken"). Besides this I am also active within Cascadis (www.cacscadis.nl) the Dutch society for web-professionals within the government.
