I have been lucky all my life to be building products that help people express and improve themselves - photography, art on the walls, books and now on-line learning. Blending manufacturing cost curves (as with digital cameras) and aspirations unexpressed (as with on-line learning), I have always motivated my teams through Product Visions that are inspiring.
I believe much more in alignment than in consensus and find myself spending a lot of time building it. As a product-centric General Manager, I find that innovation comes in all parts of the value chain - from finding the right art for my walls to more easily being able to hang it.
