Mahdi Hasanzadeh received his PhD in Textile Engineering (Textile Chemistry and Fiber Science) at University of Guilan in September 2016. His dissertation focused on enhancing the ballistic and stab resistance performance of fabrics impregnated with shear-thickening fluids. He received his MS in Textile Chemistry Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology (2011) and BS in Textile Engineering (2009) from University of Guilan. His research interest focused on electrospun nanofiber composites, modification of fibers and polymers, colloidal suspensions, ballistic and stab resistance of flexible armor, and simulation and modeling of textile process.
