Computer Specialist with the Civil Aerospace Medical Institute (CAMI) / FAA. One of the things I like about my job is its diversity of tasks I perform. I provide medical researchers with technical assistance with databases, data retrieval, data structures and database development. Some of the other tasks have been developing web applications, coding programs to collect solar data from the GOES satellites for a solar radiation alert system for pilots, digging around in the NTSB databases looking for accidents caused by medical conditions, Assisting Colombian researchers with helicopter accident data (main reason I'll never get on a helicopter).
