After a stint with Arthur Anderson I had the opportunity to be Executive Director of the Governor鈥檚 Information Technology Board. This wetted my appetite to look at the application of technology to old line businesses to change their life cycle curve. I was able to apply this to a wood packaging manufacturer. With the application of data management and logistics this old line manufacturer became a leader in reuse and recycling of high value packaging. I went on to acquire an export packaging, warehousing and trucking company that I sold. After a personal experience I realized there is a big opportunity applying technology to increase the efficiency and effectiveness within healthcare.
