Marco Zaplan is a very passionate person who likes collaborating with people from around the globe. He is an advocate of transparency and accountability in the extractive industry. He finished his Bachelor's Degree in Economics at the University of the Philippines School of Economics in 2015.
He had previous engagement with the government when he served as Chairperson of the Youth Council in Sta. Barbara, with the private sector when he did an internship with Jacinto and Lirio Notebooks, and civil society when he led several youth initiatives in college.
