About
I am a plant physiologist specialised in plant pathology and plant phenotyping. I have received my doctorate (Dr. rer. nat.) from RWTH Aachen in 2007 and have worked as a researcher in plant phenotyping from 2007 to 2014 at Forschungszentrum Jülich. Since 2014 I am Chief Scientist at LemnaTec. I am working on using non-invasive measurements for plant phenotyping. This comprises using cameras and related sensors to collect parameters that relate to and describe phenotypic plant properties. The work takes place at the interface of plant science, engineering, and computer science.
