Editor's Notes
#2: Hello everyone, my name is Maria-Louiza Laopodi.
#3: I am the founder of Cultinet, an online platform facilitating arts collaboration...
#4: And I blog at Cultural Entrepreneurship News, reporting on ways arts and culture can benefit from entrepreneurial practices.
#5: I also launched a series of talks on Cultural Entrepreneurship called culent@athens. Ive organized 5 in Athens so far, one in Corfu and the next one is planned for Zagreb Croatia next May. I did this to bring culture and other kinds of professionals together and exchange thoughts and ideas in an attempt to move the cultural practice forward.
#6: So heres my challenge to you: How can we stimulate collaborations in the cultural sectors?
Greece is under-represented in all professional bodies (unions and associations) at international level.
Our perception of collaborating and cooperating is negative due to cultural barriers.
So how can we lift those barriers and widen our perception?
Is there a single tool to do this?
#7: Ask yourselves questions like:
Which technology best serves collaborations?
What are the differences with other sectors?
What are the similarities with dating apps?
#8: Tip: collaborate with other professions and disciplines.
