I am an award-winning author based in Cape Town, South Africa. I began my working life as a medical doctor, working in public hospitals in Cape Town and the United Kingdom. In 2004 I left clinical medicine, partly as I felt disillusioned with the system of healthcare, and also because I felt my talents could be better utilised elsewhere. I then spent a number of years immersing myself in personal development in a quest to understand my true purpose and how I can use it to make a difference in the world.
