The Dutch soprano Marjolein Bonnema (1989) started her singing education at a young age, where she soon developed an interest for classical singing and opera. When Marjolein was 17 years old, she got accepted into the Maastricht Conservatory of Music where she studied voice under Professor Axel Everaert. During her studies she specialised in Opera. Since 2009 Marjolein has been working for Opera Zuid, where she at first worked as a choir member in several opera productions like Faust by Gounod, Le Nozze di Figaro by W.A. Mozart, Strauss' Der Rosenkavalier, Offenbach's Barbe-Bleue and L'elisir D'amore by Donizetti. Soon small chorus roles followed, such as Adelige Waise in der Rosenkavali...
