Grew up in Atlanta, Texas and graduated Atlanta High School in 1977. Went to Baylor and got a BBA in Marketing and Management, graduated in 1981. Sold books door-to-door in college, so got a job selling cable TV door-to-door in Waco. Moved to Dallas in 1984 to sell cable for Warner-Amex. Quit there and sold real estate for a few months. Starting selling cable again for Telecable in Plano. Moved out of Dallas in 1986 and went to work for a cable contractor-ProCom Southwest. Sold and managed sales teams in Texas and Oklahoma for a year until work ran out. Was out of work for six weeks when hired by Storer Cable in Little Rock as Sales Supervisor 1n 1987. The Little Rock system was the l
