After 24 years service in the RAF Regiment I chose to leave in 2001. Having joined the RAF as an 18 year old with few qualifications and varied work experience but no career aims, starting a new career, and life, was a challenge.
However, key transferable skills and life experiences that most people can never lay claim to, together with a renewed challenge to 'climb the greasy pole' since I left have led to where I am now.
I am still so ambitious, love helping people and businesses/grow and achieve their goals that I can't imagine losing my motivation.
