The Senior Manager, Content Security is responsible for ensuring content security elements of
existing and emerging IPTV, Mobile, Tablet, Xbox & other Video distribution platforms meet the
standards of the affiliated Studios and other relevant media organisations.

The successful candidate will lead technical discussions for content acquisition deals, write
contractual documentation and platform white papers, act as a subject matter expert on content
security technology and emerging consumer distribution platforms and ensure compliance with
existing agreements within the organisation.

Key Accountabilities:

       Establishes, documents and communicates content security policies and procedures, works
        with the Content Acquisition and technology teams to set consistent policies.
       Assists commercial and legal teams in negotiating rights with Content Partners
       Drive technical evaluations of emerging distribution technologies, consumer devices and
        content security technology developments.
       Reviews and monitors deployed solutions to ensure continued compliance with live
        agreements.
       Provides high quality, efficient work in a dynamic and challenging business environment
       Senior individual with significant industry experience and gravitas to manage relationships at
        a senior stakeholder level
       Provide input into relevant security tendering processes
       Manages any necessary security audits of internal and outsourced processes
       Understanding of the fundamentals in securing media and rights management systems
       Demonstrated understanding of DRM systems including Widevine, Verimatrix, WMDRM,
        PlayReady and Adobe Flash Access
       Demonstrated understanding of Internet based delivery mechanisms for video including
        Adobe FMS, Smooth Streaming and Apple HLS
       Demonstrated understanding of security for DVB & IPTV platforms, including practical
        knowledge of standards (DVB-CSA/3), secure key exchanges, provisioning, and Card &
        Cardless base solutions
       Demonstrated understanding of security for Set Top Boxes (Cable & IPTV base). Include
        output protection, signing of code, Hardware roots of Trust & firmware
       Working technical knowledge of delivery methods and solutions including internet, IPTV,
        cable, satellite and/or mobile
       Working understanding of security protocols including DTCP:IP, HDCP, RTMPe, UPnP,
        SSL

Essential Knowledge, Experience and Skills

      Politically sensitive

      Excellent written and oral communication
      Strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking and attention to detail
      Self-motivated, able to prioritise effectively and work independently
      Proficient with MS Office applications, including: Word, PowerPoint and Excel
      Ability to translate highly technical concepts for business audiences, and translate business
       terms to highly detailed technical requirements for engineers
       Knowledgeable in key industry standards and standards bodies
      Successful candidate will have substantial years experience working with content protection
       and security in digital environment, general knowledge of Internet security
      Technical degree or equivalent experience required
