I started working in the jewelry industry in 1984 for award winning designer Susan Machamer in Syracuse & Cazenovia NY. After that, I worked for various retail stores in the central NY area.
In 1991, I relocated to Los Angeles.
As of May '07, I have succesfully moved to Northern California and have set up a lapidary studio here.
During the last 20 years, I have earned two degrees in Gemology: Graduate Gemologist (GG) from the Gemological Institute of America and Fellowship of the Gemmological Association (FGA) from the Gemmological Association of Great Britain. I have also learned to facet and carve gemstones.
