My research interests lie in the fields of Computer-assisted Language Learning (CALL) and Computational Linguistics (CL) which are interdisciplinary fields of natural language processing. I mainly concentrate my attention on computer-assisted academic writing. My goal is to develop some CALL systems, such as near-synonym comparison, grammar pattern usage and phrasal paraphrase suggestion, to enrich language learners’ writing and further facilitate their language learning.
