Dr. Wei-Ming Yin received M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from National Chiao Tung University in 1997 and 2001, respectively, and was selected as Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor member. Since 2001, he ever joined MobiTek, SunplusMm, MediaTek, and HTC. The experiences cover software development/management for MMI framework/application for feature phones, mobile device drivers, 3G/3.5G protocol stack, real-time OS, Android framework/RIL/applications, and big data processing/visual presentation. A novel IoT system for smartphone user behavior was established by him, which is believed to be the most valuable user feedback to HTC smartphone program.
