The best thing we can do for students is to prepare them for the real world in a positive manner. This means helping them to find what they are good at and what they enjoy, and giving them the confidence to do it so well and so often they can make it their careers. This can also mean letting them fail - and showing them how useful and essential failure can be!
As a firm believer in experiential learning, spiral curriculum and the student experience, I believe I am part of a team that produces rounded people who can work in a variety of situations - not just students with a qualification.
