>After Ph. D., I joined Biomaterials Division, Central Leather Research Institute, Chennai, INDIA, as DBT-Post-Doctoral scientist fellow, under the DBT Postdoctoral Fellowship Program. While working at CLRI I also obtained a grant from the Department of Science and Technology (DST), under the DST Young Scientist Scheme. These projects involved extensive analysis of abnormal wound healing and development of Collagen based biomaterials. Also studied inter vertebral disc samples from patients suffering from scoliosis.
