I worked as a Registered Nurse for about a decade before becoming a teacher...I enjoyed nursing but teaching is a bit happier..thats were I need to be in my life right now. My husband and I (and our 3 kids) moved out of the city of Cortland about bought an old farm house on 10 acres. It is our goal to create our own little family "homestead" and have control over our food supply and environment.
