Melanie recently rejoined the DonorsChoose.org team after a year-long school leadership residency at a high-performing public charter school in Washington, DC. Her work will leverage the DonorsChoose.org teacher community as a powerful force to influence national education reform policy and scale classroom best practices. Before her residency, Melanie served as the Director of Program Expansion Partnerships at DonorsChoose.org. In this role, she supported partnerships that channeled millions of dollars in classroom resources to tens of thousands of teachers nationwide. Melanie has a Literature degree from American University (B.A.).
