Dr. Melchor Antuñano completed his Residency in Aerospace Medicine at Wright State University in Ohio. He was a post-doctoral research associate at the USAF School of Aerospace Medicine in Texas. He is the Director of the US Federal Aviation Administration Civil Aerospace Medical Institute. He is credited with 591 scientific presentations at international events and with 57 publications. He is Past-President of the US Aerospace Medical Association, the US Space Medicine Association, and the Iberoamerican Association of Aerospace Medicine. He is Chancellor of the International Academy of Aviation and Space Medicine and member of the International Academy of Astronautics.
