I am a multidisciplinary scientist with broad experience in the areas of MALDI ToF mass spectrometry, medical devices and in vitro diagnostics. I am very interested in product and process development.
Originally a molecular biologist/ biochemist/ microbiologist I completed a doctorate investigating biopolymers for use within the body to encourage biomimetic repairs of soft tissues.
Since completing my doctorate I have been involved in the development of an invitro diagnostic (IVD) device, developed products involved in the treatment of patients in critical care and I am currently working of developing applications for MALDI TOF Mass Spectrometers and Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometers.
