Previously he is the founder & CEO of voice and mobile ad platform Apptera (acquired by BCG & Soleo). At Apptera Michael designed the first web-based enterprise speech application system, named SpeechTek Product of the Year, and brought in Bank of America as the first customer. Apptera hosted 100 million calls per year for customers like Bank of America and MovieTickets.com. The company raised $30 million from investors including Lightspeed Ventures and New World Ventures.
