About
Associate professor of Theology and Religious Studies at Žilina University, Slovakia, with research interests in Christian apologetics and history of Christian doctrine. I currently focus on 20th century ideologies (Nazism, Communism) and select existential philosophers and theologians of the 19th and 20th century (mainly S. Kierkegaard and D. Bonhoeffer). I wish to promote ecumenism and a solid and truthful inter-religious dialogue. I believe the role of religion in modern (Western) societies has been downplayed or almost ignored in the past 200 years of western secularization and that it needs to be taken more seriously again - as the deepest cultural force (for better or worse...).
