4. Stampede of Service January 19, 2013 at 8am!
Stampede of Service is the largest day of campus-wide
volunteering at USF. Each year, there are thousands of
students who get together to make a di鍖erence in the
Tampa Bay Community whether it is through assisting
the elderly, beautifying the Tampa Bay Area, or helping
at the Lowry Park Zoo. Not only can you volunteer, but
you can spend quality time with friends doing so. Plus,
you typically get free food afterwards. Its a win, win,
win situation. So why not?

11. Meo Duoi Chout
Translated as "cat and mouse game" this children's game
works best with a group of seven to 10 children and is similar
to the American game Duck, Duck, Goose.
To play, the children stand in a circle with their arms raised
above their heads, creating spaces, or mouse holes, that other
players can run through.
The children pick one person to be the mouse and one to be
the cat. These two children will stand in the center of the
circle, back-to-back.
The mouse takes o鍖 running in and out of the mouse holes,
and the cat follows, attempting to tag the mouse within a
certain amount of time.
The cat must take the exact same route as the mouse. If the
cat does not follow the proper route, he loses the round.

12. Bit Mat Bat De
The traditional Vietnamese game of bit mat bat de is
literally translated as "catching a goat while blindfolded"
but is known to some American children as
"blind man's blu鍖."
This game is simple, with no songs or complicated
dialogues to memorize.
One child is chosen as the goat and one as a catcher. The
other players form a circle while the goat and catcher
stand in the center, both blindfolded.
The catcher initiates play by yelling "done." With this, the
goat must quietly slip away and periodically give out a
"baugh." The catcher's goal is to locate the goat by
following his voice and sneak up on him to catch him. To
add confusion and fun to the game, the children in the
circle can try to push the catcher or the goat in the wrong
direction.
