My current professional activities include higher education and basic science research. My past research projects concentrated in nanotechnology and material sciences. I worked with DNA as a novel material for electronics and organizational nano scaffold. To characterize the different DNA nanostructures I have used a variety of spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy as well as classical biochemistry techniques. The current work focuses in the develpment of detection strategies/imaging for biomedical and basic science applications based on DNA materials.
