Within my research portfolio there are a diverse range of outputs, from creative performance and designed artefact outputs to empirical, evidence based journal and conference papers as well as a completed PhD in design education. While my research focus is student learning, such diversity is a characteristic of research carried out within the Creative Arts, where practice can itself be regarded as research if new knowledge emerges from this methodological approach. At the core of all my research is an interest in developing sharable knowledge about the creative process. Some of this focus has led to scholarly insights shared internationally and nationally in conference papers and journals.
