Carsten has worked as a senior ICT executive for more than 20 years with both local and multinational companies in Australia and the United States, spanning the utility, telecommunications, manufacturing, pharmaceutical and transport sectors.
From 1999 to 2008 Carsten worked at ActewAGL as CIO. During this time Carsten made major strategic and structural changes to the division, reducing outstanding ICT support calls and increasing the range of services offered whilst also reducing ICT costs to the corporation.
