I am a Ph.D. candidate & Spectrum Fellow at Rutgers School of Communication and Information focusing on the evaluation of health information.
More specifically, I focus on the intersection between the characteristics of text (within the domain of health) and the characteristics of users, particularly adults with low literacy skills or English language learners, as they engage in the specific task of evaluating consumer health information.
