Misty edits highly technical scientific documents, including grant proposals, journal manuscripts, book chapters, poster text, etc., in both biomedical and veterinary fields. She also leads several seminars each year on manuscript and grant writing, as well as CV and cover letter formulation. In addition, Misty coordinates the Comparative & Experimental Medicine and Public Health Research Symposium each year. The symposium brings together over 80 new researchers at the University of Tennessee to share their findings over two days of presentations.
