The video tells the story of a girl who is bipolar through a series of shots showing her normal morning routine that then takes a dark turn. It uses split screen shots to show her smiling on one side and breaking things in her room on the other to depict her shifting moods. Later shots show her cutting herself while reading a book. The video reveals at the end that she is bipolar by showing her taking medication. The documentary-style video utilizes different shots, lighting, music and split screens to subtly portray the girl's experience with bipolar disorder over the course of her day.
