Ignacio Mart铆nez Ruiz received MS(2000), DEA(2002) and PhD (2006) degrees in telecommunication engineering from the Aragon Research Engineering Insitute (I3A), in the University of Zaragoza (UZ), Spain.
He received Best Thesis Award (2007) in Multimedia Environments from Telecommunication Engineering Offical College (COIT), Spain.
He works currently as assistant professor in Telematics Engineering Area at the Department of Electronics Engineering and Communications (IEC) in the Polytechnic Center (CPS) of UZ.
His research interests include e-Health, Ambient Intelligence, QoS, biomedical applications, interoperability of medical devices, traffic analysis and other related topics.
