I am partner at the international assurance and advisory firm KPMG and professor in business ethics and integrity management at RSM Erasmus University.
At KPMG, I am active as management consultant and auditor in the field of ethics, integrity, soft-controls, and compliance. In 1996 I co-founded KPMG Integrity in The Netherlands because I believe(d) that true work ethics makes a difference. My expertise and passion is helping clients to develop and embed effective compliance and integrity programs as well as to assess their effectiveness.
Some recent books I wrote are Workplace Morality (2012), The Servants of the People (2013), Ethicms and their Risks (2018) and Maxims (2019).
