As a community manager, I like to at least be familiar with most everything that comes to the market and gains a little traction. Obviously, not everything works for business, but I feel that consumers want to get to know new small businesses as not just a business but personally as well. I like to be that person for the company I represent. I have a friend who refers to our job as Community Manager, as being the Chief Happiness Officer of a company. It is our job to make certain that the people who interact with the brands we represent are happy.
