In my opinion, there is no greater calling than education. It is not just a job or a career, but a higher calling. Teaching is not a profession that should be taken lightly, but examined thoroughly to know, unequivocally, that is it what one is called to do. As motivational speaker and syndicated radio host Steve Harvey contended, “A career is what you’re paid for, but you’re calling is what you’re made for. I endeavor to walk in my calling.
