An inorganic understanding of how the brain works is what fascinates me most. Learning how different behavioural patterns, over time, converge to describe one definite condition is very reassuring and faith-restoring. It means we have a handle on what the problem is. And this is especially true and relevant in societies where mental illnesses are either disregarded as mere 'intentional time-outs'鈥� in mentally ill patients such as those suffering from depression.
