A graduate of the University of Washington (B.A. Great Distinction in Economics) and Harvard Law School with Honors, Del Rio began his professional career as a merger and acquisition attorney at the Wall Street law firm of Skadden Arps Slate Meager & Flom. Following his legal career, Del Rio initially gained success in business by creating novel forms of asset securitization then public public private partnerships.
