Education Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana In Process: May 2013 – May 2017 Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology GPA: 3.52 Minor in Organizational Leadership Experience Pepsico – Quaker – Bridgeview, Illinois Summer 2016 Job Title: NAN Supply Chain Intern • Gathered a variety of factors to identify low running efficiency Rice-­‐A-­‐Roni seasoning packet skus. Analyzed data and conducted multiple testing runs to create and implement new centerlines that will optimize quality and decrease the side seal width variability of that critical product. • Captured throughputs at multiple points along the plant’s largest pasta press to identify, calculate, and quantify waste streams throughout this entire process. • Led a team of individuals that managed the entire plant’s quality wall process to ensure maximum quality and decrease the amount of damaged products being produced at the plant • Converted 90 outdated LOTO procedures into a modernized format that includes the use of pictures and other visual aids to decrease misunderstanding amongst workers. Worked closely with mechanical, electrical, energy, and building engineers on a wide range of projects. • Supported the Energy Star Building Performance Summary for over 70 University buildings to meet deadlines for the City of Chicago. • Using AutoCAD, I updated the chilled water distribution map after surveying the entire Hyde Park campus (modifying valve locations and pipe specifications). • Implemented a lighting schedule at the large Utility plant to reduce wasted energy and cut unneeded costs; annual savings yielded $20,000.
