I was educated at the Perse School for Girls Cambridge, Wick High School, Fettes in Edinburgh and Bristol University.
I have spent 22 years doing qualitative research, and during that time 12 years training and then practicing as a therapist. Now I have fused it all together and do qualitative research on mental health issues and psychotherapy. I collect people's stories of therapy - good, bad and neutral - and would love to hear from anyone who wants to tell theirs. The purpose? To create the biggest independent study ever of what really works from the therapy user's point of view, and to influence the therapy profession and policymakers to make sure that's what is provided.
