My first choice for a career was not writing. Although I love using words to paint a picture and relay a story. My gifts didn’t extend to technical writing and editing. When I was asked what you want to become, I answered (a business owner). In fact, I was told how talented I would be if I were to write, but that I should find a more conventional nine to five. (bad speller) An obvious choice became the sales industry and I learned how cut throat unhappy people operate in corporate America. (car business) I desired to write but felt that I wasn't sure where to find my niche. This was until I realized that my life in itself qualified me to speak and if I wanted something I would have
