I have worked 18 years in the domains of research, innovation and higher education where I have held various positions focusing on research-analytical, financial and policy issues, working in the European Commission, the Danish Science Ministry and Innovation Center Denmark/Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
I have focused on a broad range of issues including research councils and foundations, European research funding, scientific careers, mobility studies and PhD training; interplay between public and private R&D, international comparisons of national innovation systems, mapping, assessment and evaluation of scientific quality as well as societal and economic impact of R&D and Innovation.
